The Popsugar 2017 Reading Challenge (Progress)

I am well aware that we are already a  thrid of our way through 2017 (Oh wow that’s terrifying). WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?! Before we know it we will be making and breaking our New Years Resolutions all over again. But alas, I have decided to partake in a reading challenge. I saw this while perusing pinterest (the joys of a long commute to work mean too much time on your hands), and thought it would be a good idea to incorperate into my current 52 book challenge. The challenge is as follows :

If this isn’t already enough, they have included an advanced section :

  • A book recommended by an author you love
  • A best seller from 2016
  • A book with a family-member term in the title
  • A book that takes place over a character’s life span
  •  A book about an immigrant or refugee
  • A book from a genre/sub genre that you’ve never heard of
  • A book with an eccentric character
  • A book with more than 800 pages
  • A book that you got from a used book sale
  • A book that’s been mentioned in another book
  • A book about a difficult topic Thirteen Reasons Why – Jay Asher )
  • A book based on mythology

I’m sure you’ve noticed that I may have used titles more than once for these options. This is because I saw nowhere on the link that said I couldn’t. I have limited myself to only mentioning a book twice, but I will where possible only mention a book once. I will also omit some titles as I continue reading throughout the year.

Hopefully I can complete this challenge this year, and I’m excited to see where it will take me. I’ll update you in May! If you are interested in giving this challenge a go, click here

Thank you for reading and I will see you next week!
